KEEP LIFE ON EARTH! 

(DETERIORATION OF THE OZONE LAYER)

The ozone layer is what prevents ultraviolet rays from entering the earth's surface, without it the sun's rays will be more damaging than they already are, causing skin cancer, cataracts in humans and damage to animals.

Its protection is essential for daily life, something that has not been taken into account over the years since it is increasingly destroyed by the constant pollution on the planet caused by humans and their toxic creations towards the environment.

Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) are chemicals that are mainly found in aerosols, these are the main culprits of the deterioration of the ozone layer. When CFCs reach the upper part of the atmosphere, they are exposed to ultraviolet rays, which causes substances that include chlorine to break down. Chlorine reacts with oxygen atoms in ozone and destroys the ozone molecule.

By interviewing the specialist: José Mario Molina Pasquel y Henríquez, I was able to gather the most important information that I have to take into account when carrying out any solution that I have to propose to this problem. Since he was the first who could give a successful solution to the deterioration of the Ozone Layer in previous years. It is giving him recognition as The Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

My solution will be: Communicate with people from different countries through the necessary means of the internet, interested in protecting the Ozone Layer. According to how many people want to support the cause, a virtual group is created where we can all interact and give different ideas to carry out this project.

As a first step, an email will be written to different advertising companies requesting that they share advertisements informing viewers how serious it would be to continue neglecting the Ozone Layer. Likewise, we will share all the necessary information through our social networks, such as: Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Blogger.

As a second step, we will organize a presentation in which we will teach the causes, risks and contraindications of all kinds that chlorofluorocarbon products contain. This presentation will be directed to all the different companies in charge of manufacturing this type of product and to the ministries of the environment of all the countries where the people involved in our awareness group are from.

Finally, signatures and certificates will be gathered, which will serve to send to the necessary authorities that have the power to make the use of chlorofluorocarbons in any kind of product illegal towards the manufacturer and the consumer in all the countries of the world, with the compilation of all these steps, a significant improvement in the hole in the Ozone Layer is expected in the coming years, if the awareness of people in the world is achieved.
